Woke up at 7am to start getting ready for my new job today. No one had told me what to be expecting so I was surprised to be ushered into a classroom with five other people for an orientation (which I had no idea was even part of the process) After hearing about the company (FOR 6 HOURS), during which we watched two TED talks, we took a tour of the “campus” as they put it.
Unfortunately , the building which is going to house the marketing department is getting a major overhaul right now, so I’m going to be in a small room with two of my colleagues until next year.Right now the only real amenity is the small gym located in house…BUT
THE NEW BUILDING WILL HAVE A POOL TABLE, PING PONG TABLE, BEAN BAG CHAIR ROOM, XBOX AND WII ROOM and more! So naturally I’m beyond excited. The company asked employees what they wanted to be happy at work when going over plans for the renovation, and if they are the kind of people who want to play video games in their downtime I know I’ll fit right in.
Also, I was finally able to meet the last member of my marketing team, and I’m really excited to be able to work with such a small, tight-knit group.
On the plus side, there’s a coffeemaker and a keurig brewer on every floor, so I’ll never run out of coffee.
Guess they’re fans of cards against humanity too!
Now I’m finally ready for the new job
Giving up on ever falling asleep

German producer Felix Jaehn drops another stellar summer house jam in the form of Ain’t Nobody. It’s a remix of London songtress Jasmine Thompson’s acoustic cover of Chaka Khan classic Ain’t Nobody. The track retains some of her fantastic Ellie Goulding-esque vocals. Like prior feature Shine, there’s a sumptuous tropical flavor to the deeply catchy, staccato florrid, melodic affair.
